Over 20 years in the making, “Live At Paard” features 20 live takes of my favorite songs I’ve written over the past 2 decades with my bands, The Cards, Little Neon, Earth Minor, and EBE, performed by an all-star band of special guests including Paul Quinn, Koen Herfst, Bas Maas, Laura Scarborough, Boris Oud, Rubz Pichel, & Justin Pursey. This one-of-a-kind concert was recorded live on stage last spring at the legendary music venue, Paard in Den Haag, NL.

𝐄𝐁𝐄 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐦𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐝. It’s the name I used when I played my first gig back in the year 2000 at CBGB’s. It’s the band Daryl Anderson joined with me to play duo electro rock gigs all over the New York City area for almost a decade.

𝐄𝐁𝐄 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐦𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐝. It’s the band I made my first 3 albums with, channeling all my teenage hopes and dreams into every note, every mix, and every performance. It’s the band I first drove across the U.S. with and called it a tour.

I’m very excited to announce my next release, a dual single with an amazingly talented singer/singwriter from Berlin, Marie Chain. I’m thrilled to release some new music with The Cards this Friday, December 18th, namely our new single “The Gamble.” The song follows our adventures on the road in Europe this past February as Covid began to sweep the land, leaving us on a mad dash for home (and away from our big dreams). I’m proud to have been able to finally digest the experience and to convey it in a way that I hope will help others who have had similar dreams dashed this year due to this nasty pandemic.
